Familiarize yourself with the ACT
ACT (American College Test) is for high school students who want to take admission in universities in U.S. ACT exam is conducted to assess the knowledge and aptitude of students majorly in four areas- Reading, Writing, Math, and Science. There is an optional section of essay writing, which is highly recommended.
ACT ELIGIBILITY
There is no minimum or maximum age limit to give ACT. Any student who has passed the high school exam is eligible to apply. There are no restrictions in the number of attempts to give ACT. It is conducted 5 times a year in India- in the month of June, September, October, December, and February.

The registration fees for the ACT is USD 150 (without essay) and USD 166.50 (with essay). Test fee is inclusive of the cost of sending your score reports to four colleges that you choose when you register for the test.
ACT is conducted 24 times in a year. ACT is held in almost all major cities in India on two consecutive dates in the months of September, October, December, February, April and June. On each date, the exam is conducted twice - morning and afternoon.
You should create an ACT web account and then register for the exam on international test dates. Choose your preferred test option, test date and the colleges to which you want to send your scores, and pay the registration fees online at www.act.org.
