National Law university – All India Law Entrance Test
All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) is conducted by National Law University Delhi (NLU Delhi) to offer admission in undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) and doctorate (PhD) law courses.
What is NLU-AILET Exam?
AILET is a university-level entrance exam, conducted every year for admissions in 5-year integrated (BA LLB) and LLM law programmes.
AILET is the first step towards getting into the LAW admission for the colleges that accept AILET scores.
The exam will be conducted in the online mode starting from 1st week of Jan to 1st week of April 2021.
Qualified candidates can appear for the counseling and admission conducted by NLU Delhi.

NLU-AILET 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
There are certain eligibility criteria that has been defined by National Law University, Delhi.
Students who are appearing for the board examinations are also eligible to apply for AILET 2020. However, those candidates will have to submit the proof of qualification at the time of the document verification process before admission.
Supreme Court had applied a stay on age bar in 2017 and now there is no age bar for candidates who want to apply for the AILET 2020 entrance exam.
AILET 2021 Eligibility Criteria for LLB
- Candidates who have qualified Intermediate (10+2) with minimum 50% aggregate marks can apply for the AILET 2021 exam.
- Candidates appearing in class 12 exam are also eligible to apply the entrance.
AILET 2021 Eligibility Criteria for LLM
- Graduates of LLB or any other equivalent degree with minimum 55% aggregate marks (50% marks for SC/ST/PwD)
- Candidates in their last year of LLB course can also apply
AILET 2021 Eligibility Criteria for Ph.D
- LL.M or its equivalent degree holders with 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ ST/ PwD)
