Admission Criteria

UG: High school certificate/mark sheets + SAT / ACT scores (not mandatory if optional) + ELP test scores of TOEFL / IELTS / Duolingo 

 

PG: Bachelor’s mark sheet + GRE / GMAT / LSAT + ELP test scores + SOP + LOR + Resume

Create account

To create an  account on Univmentor , you simply have to add your basic details, create login credentials, complete your registration process, and select “create account.”

Add colleges and courses

After having created account, you can add up to 20 universities and select courses.

Educational details

You have to provide information about your academics, including schools and colleges attended, grades, special courses, reporting GPA, cumulative GPA, summer programs, degrees if applicable, and academic honors from across your four years of high school

Extracurricular Activities & Work Experience

You will need to succinctly summarize the activity which can include anything from your clubs, leadership positions, social impact accomplishments, internships, summer programs, artistic or athletic activities, and much more. 

Letters of Recommendation

When selecting your recommenders, you should prioritize quality, diversity, and recency. Your teachers will be able to testify to your character, your contribution to your peer community, and your ability to thrive in college.

This is the area where you can show your informed enthusiasm for your subject, evidenced by various academic experiences through which you demonstrate competence in your field. Thus, you can highlight how you represent an excellent addition to any college campus.

Your personal statement must be between 1,000 and 4,000 characters long.

Extracurricular Activities & Work Experience

You will need to succinctly summarize the activity which can include anything from your clubs, leadership positions, social impact accomplishments, internships, summer programs, artistic or athletic activities, and much more.

The Canadian admissions process is largely straightforward. There is no centralized application process for universities in Canada. Application processes vary by province. In some provinces, students can apply through a central application service. In others, you must apply directly to the university. You may also want to apply to more than one program or university, in the event you aren’t admitted to your first choice.

Visit the OUAC (Ontario Universities Application Centre) website and create your account. Browse available programs by university, select your preferred program, and add to the Program Choices section. you will provide your basic details, create login credentials, and activate your account.

Application Process:-

 
  • The portal opens in early October 2023
  • Admissions decisions: Late January to April 2024
    UBC’s admission process is not first-come, first-served. They evaluate applications continuously from January to April.
  • UBC has an English language requirement that can be met by any of the tests mentioned on the UBC website under the admission requirements – English language competency

     

    McGill University Application Process:- 

     

      • The portal opens on October 1st, 2023.
      • Application for Admission Deadline: January 15, 2024.
      • Create your Minerva account.
      • You can register for two programs; your application will be considered separately for each.
    • Reporting SAT scores is encouraged as McGill has no essay prompts, and the admission is based largely on academics.
